AFROline Cleansing Shampoo, which deeply cleanses braided hair, leaves no residue, making it the perfect choice to keep braided hair clean and rejuvenated, even for the oiliest hair types.
This is the first shampoo developed specifically for braided hair, including our 20 years of hair braiding experience!
Using Shampoo: When you wash your braided hair, don't do it the usual way - don't rub the braids under any circumstances! There is a much better way. After applying diluted shampoo gently to the braids, instead of rubbing, press the braids together. Pressing the braids against the scalp removes dirt, as this is the place where hard-to-reach dirt and debris tend to hide.
Rinse without rubbing. It is also very important to avoid friction when rinsing. We recommend rinsing upside down, leaning forward or backward, this way you can easily remove all the dirt instead of it staying at the base of the hair.
After rinsing, allow the braids to air dry or gently wrap them in a large microfiber towel to absorb excess moisture. It is recommended to wash braided hair every two weeks. This will help keep your hair clean without exposing it to too many hair care products. If you have an oily scalp or product buildup on your braids or scalp, you may need to wash your braids more frequently.
